Since 1967, Sicme has developed high-performance electric motors and generators in Italy. Now part of Orange1 Holding, Sicme serves demanding industries worldwide with variable-speed, synchronous, torque, servo, hydro and wind-generation solutions.

Hydro Generators
Output: up to 3,000 kW
Permanent-magnet direct-drive generators for hydroelectric systems, including air-cooled, water-cooled and fully submerged solutions.
Wind Generators
Direct-drive output: up to 5,000 kW
Gearless, low-speed permanent-magnet generators for wind turbines and remote sites where reliable, low-maintenance operation matters.
Applications, Reach & Expertise
Sicme Orange1 solutions support steel and copper wire processing, sheet-metal working, plastic extrusion, naval propulsion, rail, ropeways, cableways and renewable energy. Production sites in Turin and Montebello Vicentino serve customers in more than 70 countries. Sicme has also developed specialist technology such as motor wheels for the Mars Rover.
